1. Addis Ababa City

As I have been informed you in the pervious news letter me and my team we are focused on reaching Addis Ababa city with the gospel of Christ our Lord. Because of Addis Ababa City is one of the unreached cities of the world, even after a century of mission efforts. Only 7.8 evangelical Christians, compared to 74% Orthodox Tewahedo believers and around 16.2% Muslims according to the last national housing and population censes. The city also characterized by wide spread socio-economic problems. Research shows that 150,000 woman’s commit adulatory every night. Ironically, many evangelical churches seem satisfied with what they have achieved and have almost ceased their evangelistic efforts. Most Church planting efforts in the city are not focused on the more than 92% unreached residents of the city rather characterized by sheep stealing and internal competition. It is becoming common to see that new denominations grow almost every year without new vision or strategy, instantly booming but shrinking in a short while.
As a Great Commission Ministry we believe that God called us to stand on the front line to motivate churches and believers to give their life for the purpose that God created them, which is the Great Commission.
Now it is one year when we started implementing the church planting movement in Addis Ababa City by training and coaching 56 church planters from the area of 6 Killo, CMC, and Akaki Kaliti and it’s surrounding since November 2014. In addition to church planter we have organized Action Group Team with a member of 73 passionated believers from different local churches.

My team have been coaching, mentoring and training church planters in their foreseen church sites. currently we are coaching 29 faithful church planters, the rest were dropped from the movement in different reasons. In the last 12 month effort in the grace of God we could mobilized and trained more than 1,002 people for evangelism, exposed more than 32,281 people in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through one to one evangelism and film show, and 5,112 people accepted Christ as their personal savior and Lord. Most of the new believers were joined the existed local churches, some of them have been a means to plant new churches.
Finally, we have planted 53 new churches or follow up groups with a member of 1744 believers. Among the total 38 new churches are planted in Addis Ababa city and the rest planted around GerbeGuracha, Ginchi, Arsi Dabobesa. It is our prayer that these new churches or groups will grow and multiply rapidly.

2 North Synod Church Planting Movement

As I were mentioned in my pervious news letter I have been helping the North Synod of Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekaneyesus in church planting movement through training and follow up.
According 31 church planters report in the last 13 month they could plant 35 new churches or follow up groups with a members of 576 believers.

3. Children Ministry

As I updated you in my previous news letter since January 2014 I have been engaged in children ministry which God cares more with Awana Ministry. As written “But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.” Matt 18:6 &14 (NIV)

From January 2015 to November 2015 we have shared the importance of Children ministry for church pastors, and trained Children ministry techniques and curriculum for 494 selected key children ministers from more than 200 local churches and ministries. Through them many children ministries have been trained 3-2 days version training). In the church where this curriculum implemented children are excited to memorize verses every week, loved the program, growing spiritually, family are excited. In some place non believer children‘s are joining the program, some are decided to follow Christ. Praise Jesus!

• God has provide us 216 sq.m land at Debereiet City freely, praise for His provision.

Prayer Request

• Pray may we grow in Gods wisdom and knowledge
• Pray for resources may the Lord provide all needs for the movement
• Pray may the Lord raise people those who will support my family financially either regularly base or one time gift, so that we could stick in the ministry and could able to build a house in the gifted land.
