Dear Family and friends we greet you in the precious name of Our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ who called us to serve Him in this generation. It is our prayer that the Lord is keeping you safe and under His mercy. My family is enjoying the mercy and the continued grace of our lord Jesus Christ. Lydia our lovely daughter is growing healthy. God is mercifully with us Mesi reached 8month of her pregnancy healthy.

The ministry we involved is growing and expanding amazingly, in the last three month in the grace of God me and my team which the area I give leadership we could mobilized and trained as follows:-

1. 57 missionaries have been sent to North and East Ethiopia among Orthodox and Muslim dominant area respectively.
2.   411 people were trained on the issue of evangelism and discipleship one to two days range.
3. We have motivated more than 1280 people for the kingdom work through sharing our vision and preaching in the congregation and conferences.
4. In the children ministry effort we have also trained more than 384 children ministries from 158 churches (39 church in Harar East Ethiopian, 108 Amaro South Ethiopia, 11 in Hossana and 8 Addis Ababa Christian schools.)
5. From the end of January to second week of February I went in Amaro the place were I born which is 480 KM from Addis Ababa to train a children ministries and mobilize church leaders and youth for evangelism and disciples with a team from Hawssa and Addis Ababa. In those times 73 church leaders and pastors were trained specifically in the issue of leading by obeying the word of God, the training was based on the book of Romans. 87 youth leaders also trained in the issue how to be and make multiplying disciples using small group platform. 184 child ministries also trained Awana children ministry curriculum and techniques which is simply to implement.

In the above effort we could shared the gospel to more  11, 181 people in both (one to one 1731 and mass or Jesus Film 9450 people), among the exposure 574 people are interested and 319 people are accepted Christ as their personal savior and Lord. Praise the Lord.

Our church planting team are working hard in developing second generation leadership, the new multiplying groups or planted churches are growing in 49 centers which initiated by our church planting team in Addis Ababa are growing amazingly.

As I have been informing you in the impervious posts Addis Ababa City is one of the unreached cities of the world, even after a century of mission efforts only 7.8% evangelical Christians, compared to 74% Orthodox Tewahedo believers and around 16.2% Muslims according to the last national housing and population censes. The city also characterized by wide spread socio-economic problems, the place which I am giving leadership as a church ministry department.

In the last one year and two month effort we have seen that the ripe is ready to harvest as Jesus said “…I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.” John 4:35-36.

The result which we have achieved in these months is live testimony, more than 43,462 people  are exposed in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, among them 5,431 people accepted Christ as their personal savior, in 59 place new groups or church planting movement have initiated, among them 49 are growing with a member of 1744 new believers while the 10 center scattered and joined the existed churches because of different reasons.

God also shaking the church and mission organization leaders to focus on the city, some denominations and mission organization are in progress to work with us in the city. Praise the Lord!

We are launching a 18month long evangelism momentum called “Addis Wave Evangelism Momentum” targeted to reach 1million people in the gospel within the city. I will update you in detail soon.

4. At this time we have building small service house in the land which God has provided us . In God’s grace and provision the building is going well. It is now three week when we started building a house. Our project is first to build small service house to secure our house rent costs, the main house will be our secondary plan.  God is good, the service building is going amazingly. This time we have finished the foundation, colon and H.C.B work. We have invested 76,000 Birr around 3455 US dollar. We have got this support from five different individuals. Another amazing thing is the contractor who is building the house is non believer but He is working for us freely. We don’t know each other before when I approached Him for the first time in the place where he has been building G+2 house near to my land, after a while discussion he said I want to build your house freely. It’s amazing! I realized that non believer also God’s treasure.We have finished the finance, we are trusting in the Lord for the following our detail needs.

   3. For door and Window= 27,850 birr
   4. For cornice  17,720birr
   5. For electrical= 14,030 birr
   6. For sanitation material and work= 11,951birr
   7. For wall fortification work = 25,275 birr (Cement= 92oo, Sand=4800, Sand 00=1400, Labor=9875)
   8. For ceramic and paint work (optional) =29,300 birr
   9. For kitchen Cabinets (Optional) = 35,763birr
   10. For Fence work= 9500 (traditional) or 28510birr (Modern)

   Total 216,862.75 birr or $9,858 US dollar

   This is the details we need to finish the house depending on actual costs of the contractor details.  Please pray many the Lord raise people who will support us in this critical time. It is our belief that you are the one whom the Lord raised to bless my family!
