Introduction:
Great Commission Ministry Church ministry global developed new direction to participated in church planting movement directly, and developed a training and coaching curriculum called “Multiplying Churches and Community” MC2” It has four phases; each phase needs at least three month implementation period before go to the next phase.

1. Addis Ababa Church Movement
In half of 2014 our leadership team have understood the need and established a team who focuses on reaching Addis Ababa.
Let me share you some of the need why we should focus on reaching Addis Ababa City intentionally.
Addis Ababa is the Capital City Ethiopia, which has political and socio-economic impact for the country.
Addis Ababa City is one of the unreached cities of the world. Even after a century of mission efforts. According to the 2007 general census of Ethiopia there were only 7.8 Evangelical Christians, compared to 74% Orthodox Tewahedo believers and around 16.2% Muslims.
Addis Ababa is characterized by wide spread socio-economic problems. Research shows that 150,000 woman’s commit adulatory every night. Ironically, however, many evangelical churches seem satisfied with what they have achieved and have almost ceased their evangelistic efforts.
Most Church planting efforts in the city are not focused on the more than 92% unreached residents of the city rather characterized by sheep stealing and internal competition. It is becoming common to see that new denominations grow almost every year without new vision or strategy, instantly booming but shrinking in a short while.
For this reason from September 2014 I am coordinating Addis Ababa City Church Movement. It is a new department for our ministry, before we Great Commission Ministry Ethiopia have not focused working in Addis Ababa City as a missioned targeted area specially in the department of Church led movement, unless local church initiations.
For this year we have selected three sites (CMC, Akaki, Sdist Killo and surroundings); and assigned two staff in each site with a responsibility of coaching each church planters weekly base.
In the five month effort within Addis Ababa City in the grace and power of God we could mobilized and trained more than 212 people for evangelism and church planting, exposed more than 3225 people in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ, and 389 people accepted Christ as their personal savior and Lord. In 11 place new follow up groups initiative has been taken which expected to grow multiplying church. In addition through our Action Group initiative we also shared the gospel for more than 5000 people and 2869 people come to Christ.

2. Children Ministry
As you I updated you in my pervious news letter since January 2014 I have been engaged in children ministry which God cares more. As written “But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.” Matt 18:6 &14 (NIV)
In September and January we had five days training called “Seed Planters Training” for key children ministry leaders Hwassa and Addis Ababa Bole city respectively. In both place more than 145 church leaders participated in the vision sharing program before the training held. In both place we have trained Children ministry techniques and curriculum for 258 selected key children ministers from 131 local churches and ministries. Through them and our team more than 410 children ministries have been trained 3-2 days version training). In the church where this curriculum implemented children are excited to memorize verses every week, loved the program, growing spiritually, family are excited. In some place non believer children’s are joining the program, some are decided to follow Christ. Praise Jesus!

3. Semen Synod Church Planting Movement
Since July 2014 I been personal working church planting movement with Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekaneyesus North Synod which covers the whole north part of the country and some part of Afar, Oromia regions. Our plan is planting multiplying churches and community movement among the North Synod targeted area regions.

For this reason the Synod leaders with local congregation leaders they selected 38 key church planters.
I met with them October 2-3 2014 for the first phase multiplying church movement training. According to the training each church planters planned four month activities which mainly focused on evangelizing abundantly using different techniques and forming follow up groups which is mandatory to participate in the next phase.
According 31 church planters report in the last four month they could trained more than 260 people for prayer and evangelism, more than 3882 people heard the good news of Jesus Christ, 597 people accepted Christ as their Savior and Lord.

Dear Co-Worker in the kingdom of God, I have have shared  you some of my ministry updates highlights from September 2013 to August 2014 as follows:

September to December
Ali Mohammed:
Ali is from Ethiopian Somali born in Jijiga, he accepted Christ as his personal savior and Lord in Djibouti in the help of missionaries and came back to Ethiopia July 2013 to know about Christ more. That was the way we met, in the help of God I helped him spiritually through teaching the word of God and showing him my personal life. In the midst when he went to Jijiga to visit his family, he faced challenge from his family (mother, brothers, sister and uncles) because they were understood that he believed in Christ Jesus. Thus they arrested him for a days at home to protect him meeting with Christians and push him back to Islam. Through these challenges Ali continued confessing Christ as Lord, they offended by Ali’s strength and decided to kill him, but in the help of God Ali escaped at the mid night and back to Addis Ababa. Know he is growing and sharing Christ to others.

5 Killo Action Group:
From end of September to December I had trained Muslim Evangelism 25 to 30 members of Addis Ababa Institute of Technology students. In the mid of the training they went to Chanicho to practice what they trained in sharing the gospel to others for one day mission.. And the could able to share 730 people the gospel and 43 people came to Christ. Praise Jesus!
Danikara Mission:
Danikar founded in 50 KM far to south Addis Ababa between Debreziet and Mojo. The area is dominated by Ethiopian Orthodox and traditional believers, there are few evangelical believer’s not more than 150 as the leaders told within three denomination. I had got the opportunity to train the believers there and send them to mission. I have trained 53 believers basic evangelism and strategy called “PRAYER, CARE AND SHARE” in the initiative of Debreziet six college Christian student fellowship. After the training they continued evangelizing, in the first week they could able to share the gospel for more that 2000 people and 33 people came to Christ. Praise the Lord!

Katela Mission
With Addis Ababa University veterinary school and Kuriftu Kale Hiwot local church we could send one missionary to Katela in October, 2013 the place where there is no one believer there and I slept under tree to preach the gospel three years ago. As his three month report shows he could able to reach more than 600 people in the gospel and more than 75 people are interested.
Tanzania Staff Conference
In the first of December we South and East Africa Great Commission staff had conference at Dodoma, Tanzania for a week. Because of the conference we could imparted the vision which God has entrust to us with others and learned how God is working in each 24 countries differently.

January to April
My Local Church:

In the end of December 2013 I became Evangelism department committee, and started working strategically with the church full-timers and elders. We started from changing the way how it was been done. Previously almost evangelism work was becoming dying. Because of that there were no tangible way to reach the unreached. In these four month we could able to establish two new action team with 67 members through mobilizing the believers. We have also set outreach time every Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon, and training and prayer every Wednesday and Thursday. Because of that we could expose 2192, people in the gospel, 179 people come to Christ, and 45 were baptized.
May to August
Children Ministry: January 2014 I have been engaged in children ministry when Awana ministry launched first training in Ethiopia. Awana has a wonderful and applicable tools for children ministry. It clearly showed me children’s impact in the world mission while it is not valued that much in Ethiopian churches. So that, I have decided to work closely with children ministry. Awana program designed to be implemented within 2 hours in three segments, the first 40 minute game time, second 40 minute council time and the last 40 minute Team time. Game time is purposed to make happy the children and attract non believer children into the program, in council time teachers will teach them in different way using the teacher guide manual and in team time students will divided into 6-8 members according to their age to study Bible using student handbooks. From May 7-11 & June 2-6, 2014, we have trained 250 children ministers from 125 local churches from Lafto and Gulele sub city respectively. After the training many churches understood children ministry importance, some churches assigned fulltime staff, some churches started the program as it is. Because of that some no-believers children coming to the program and accepting Christ as their savior.

My Local Church
God has working amazingly in my local church. Both three action groups are working strongly even if some of them are being busy. One testimony I want to share you, fromJune 28-July 6 we were decided as an evangelism week and

New Believers with Bible

courage all Action Group team would participate all days. Most of them committed to take leave from their work place and spent the whole week sharing the gospel daily in group. Within a week in the power of God we could shared the gospel to more than 3500 and 143 people accepted Christ as their savior and Lord. Starting from that week people are accepting Christ in each weekly program. Generally. in these four months range we shared the gospel for more than 4000 people, 193 people came to Christ, 57 were baptized.
Garad:
Gara is the place I been started planting church in May 2013 with one of my ministry partner. The church is growing and expanding amazingly now more than 100 people attending in one church.

Debreziet & Adama Mission 

In May we had a mission campaign at Debereziet and Adama for a week with some missionary team from USA. We exposed 3164 people in the gospel and 66 accepted Christ as their savior and Lord through Jesus and Magdalena Film show and one to one evangelism.

Wora KaleHiwot
I had an opportunity to train 25 people from Woyira Kale Hiwot Church in the end of May and in this month also I mobilized the whole congregation on Sunday worship time to go out and share the gospel. Because of that we shared the gospel to 98 people and 2 were decided to follow Christ.
Dessie Mission
Ethiopian Evangelical Church MekaneYesus has designed a five year strategy to reach five million people in the gospel and made partnership with Great Commission ministry for the implementation. For this year implementation I was assigned Dessie and went there end of July to train the first voluntary missionaries. I have trained 30 voluntaries for three days. During the training we had an outreach time for 40 minutes, and shared the gospel for 55 people, from among them 10 people come to Christ. Finally they being send to different areas to continue the work.

Multiplying Churches and community training
We Great Commission ministry church led movement have been launched the multiplying churches and community strategy in target to plant 80,000 multiplying churches and fellowships in 2020. For the coming new Ethiopian year we have targeted 25 church planting sites. 30 multiplying churches and fellowship will be planted in each site. From August 18 to 21 we have trained first phase manual to 40 our staff sand key associate staffs. While I was one of the trainer. During the training for 40 minutes we went out to share the gospel, and in His grace we could able to share the gospel for 220 people and 33 people decided to follow Christ.

Thanks the Lord for he used me as means to reach those more than13059 people who heard the gospel and 559 people who accepted Christ

In the last three months I was busy in reading many books, writhing , meeting with some people who has a passion and concern for the lost and who are working among the lost that I’m working strategically, and prayer to prepare the first training material. In the grace of God I could able to produce the first basic training material and to collect their strategy from different sources.  I could finish writing the first training book and organizing their strategy in the last week. In  the will of God I believe we could print after a months. I’m just waiting some time for some comments and typing to print.

In the month of December 2012 and January 2013 I was train 70 selected students from Ketebe Teacher Education College in Canaan Movement. After the training those 70 students went to different area; some of them Diredawa and  Harar and the rest at Addis Ababa surrounding Ketebe for a one week mission. In the power of the Holy Spirit they could able to share the gospel for  2778 people and from those 155 people are received Christ as their Lord and Savior. As Antetneh said the result that they have achieved is the impact of the training, before the training most of them were developed  negative thinking about the lost, but through and after the training they challenged to believe as they can able  to share their faith to lost and our faithful God also showed them how the lost are hungry for the gospel in field. Be glory to the Lord who knows the way to teach us.  

In the grace of God me and my wife we could able to motivate our neighbors for Bible Study since December 2012. Two of them are nominal Christian and five of them are fanatic orthodox believers. We do Bible study in every Wednesday and Saturday night from 8:00 PM to 9:15 Pm in our home. We are studying the Book of Romans. We have finished the first 6 chapters. In the middle of chapter two one decided to give his life to Christ, and his friend also challenged to accepted Christ in the middle of Chapter three but not decided yet.

On the other hand in February my wife went to Minijar  for one week mission with 14 students from Addis Ababa Institute of Technology the place where she was worked for two years one years ago. Minijar is a challenging area that almost all the people are closed heart for the gospel of Christ because of their religious sensitivity and their culture backwardness. They faced some warning oral but not physically.  Finally they shared the gospel for 720 people and 85 people receive Christ as their savior and Lord. Amazing thing is all the students who went Minijar are challenged in the love of the lost and decided to send one missionary, they are raising money and looking for the missionary. Please join them in the Harvest through your prayer!   On the other hand 20 students from Addis Ababa University College of Commerce while my wife is ministering went to TuluBollo for one week mission. They also able to share the gospel for 800 people and 20 people accepted Christ as their Savior and Lord! They also offered some student books and dictionaries for High school students. God has working Amazingly with Addis Ababa University College of Commerce Students, after the break semester mission all the christian student are compassionate to share the love of God for the lost. In the help of the Lord the they decided to share their faith daily in the school compound and surrounding in dividing into groups every daily. for Example Friday the whole fellowship members, Tuesday Action Group with Prayer team, Wednesday Action Group with Bible Study team….  Because of that many people are getting the opportunity to hear about Christ and coming to their TRUE Savoir.  DON’T FORGET PRAYING FOR THEM EVERYDAY AS THEY ARE TAKING THE INITIATIVE Please!

Spiritual Movement

In the September update I was mentioned what is been happing in Addulala. Mritsew is one of my key disciple from Debrezeit he grow up in Addulala; God has filled his heart with the love of Adulala people to reach them in the love of Christ. He was the one who facilitates the Adulala Training and mission Expo September 2012.

In the beginning of November, 2012 he go back to Addulala to visit the new believers and to follow up how the trained people are expanding the kingdom of God. On the way he went to the prison and shared the love of Christ  18 people come to Christ and he offered the New Testament Bible them, now they are studying Bible together.

After the Prison the Holy Spirit lead him to Ashufe 35 Km far from Debreziet. He arrived at the night and meet the Kebele Administration and explained him as he is came there to share the love of God. The kebele Administration against his idea and took him to the Prison  and arrested. Mirtsew started sharing the gospel for the Police man and the police man released him from the prison in that night. After he came out from the prison he meet again the Kebele Administration and asked him please take me in your home. I don’t know any one here please host me as your guest . Then the Administration was bring him in his home. At that night Mirtsew shared the gospel for the whole family and 8 people give their life to Christ except the Administer. In the next day that family pleased Mirtsew to stay with them and teach more the word of God, and Mirtsew teach them for three days and two additional night. On the while that family were invited their neighbors and relatives on their bible study time. And most their neighbors and relatives got the chance to hear the gospel and came to Christ. Mexico  Area Students

In October 26/2012 me and my wife were train 87 students from different schools in basic evangelism and Pray, Care and share training with the Central Student Led Team. In the mildest of the training we able to share 101 people the gospel and 43 came to Christ.

Holeta Mekaneyesys Church

In Nov 3/ 2012 Holeta mekanyesys Chruch was invited me to train how to evangelize. In the power of the Lord I was training the basic evangelism training 16 selected people. After the training we send 20 student missionaries there, Awash Melka and Meki they able the share the gospel more than 1000people and 130 came to Christ and grace of God.

The Book of Johan

From October 2012 have been training 10 professionals in every Monday from 4: 7 PM. In the last two months we have finished the book of Johan. Through the training God was teaching our heart and opened our eye to see what he is seeing and to feel what he is fleeing. He showed us what his heart looks like especially for the lost. Praise the Lord! Now we are started the book of 2Timothy.

1.Spiritual Movement with Student Abdulazaz

Abudulazaz

Abdulazaz is a student in Addis Ababa University School of Veterinary  Debreziet Campus. He is one from my disciples from Muslim background, he came to the Lord three years ago and he has won his mam, sisters and brother in Christ the last Ethiopian year/ 2012. he also trusted in the Lord as he will won his father and one brother soon. Praise the Lord.

In the  last  month his plan was to build Spiritual movement in his local church youth by applying what he had learned. He was selected 24 youth to spent with them for five whole days. In the first two days I was trained them basic evangelism and the rest three day they were go out and shared the gospel in the church surrounding around Hana Mariam new area and not yet much church planted.

In those three days they were able to reach more than 3000 people in the gospel and 20 people came to Christ. In the whole night they were spent in  prayer ;and day time training, outreach, discussion, experience sharing and planning.

The amazing thing is this is the first time in that Church when the people dedicated five days for outreach. All of the youth were motivated and had decided to share Christ in every opportunity.

2. Adulala Training and Outreach Expo

Missionaries

It is our duty for the Christians living in this generation to address the rest of the world, as Jesus ordered his disciples to reach the world through Gospel of Christ. God put a vision in us to reach those people who need the gospel of Christ Jesus for salvation of their soul. So God has given as a sight called Adulala which is occupied by about 90000 people with Debrezeit six College Christian students.

This training expo have been held at Adulala  37 KM far to West Debreziet; its purpose  was to train 50 movement leaders for seven days from 35 Kebles and different denominations and churches; to expose 12000 people in the love of Christ ; to won 500 souls in Christ, to plant three churches; from September 17 to 24, 2012. Theme –Go and Make disciples of all nations, teach them to obey all the commands that I have given you, key verse is Matthew 28:19-20, The total cost of 20000 birr.

Because of some challenges and financial limitation we had minimized  the duration date  into five days and able to do as follows in the grace of God:

1. We had trained 36 leaders from 9 denomination and different Kebles and 35 student missionaries in Evangelism and Discipleship

2. We had exposed more than 2085 people in one to one evangelism, 2685 in gospel tract, 70 people in New Testament Bible.

3. 330 people are accepted Christ as their Savior and Lord

4. 70 new believers started taking   follow up during the expo

5. We have raised 8725 birr and   used 8000 birr for the expo

Evangelism

6. All the trainee are motivated and decided to do evangelism as their daily life style and planned to train the rest Christians in their local churched and to develop 5 to 10 Christians personally.

The training content was in the morning lecturer and the afternoon question and answer, discussion, planning, prayer, and outreach in the field. (means morning training; afternoon application) 

In generally, it was amazing God has touched all the trainee, they were confessed as they have understood the easiest and effective way to share their faith and some of them were said “we were sharing the gospel in the wrong way instead of pointing them to Christ, but through the training God has shaped us”, some of them also said we were thinking sharing the gospel is not the responsibility of all believers but for some peoples who have a burden for the lost, but today we have understood the heart of God. Finally all of the trainee were planned how they apply in their life and churches as follows:

1. Each trainee were selected five to ten new and nominal Christians to follow up and make them disciple and Ten non believers  to pray them, care, and share Christ personally.

2. They also set the date when and where they will train their local church members starting from September 27 to November 27.

3. Finally we also promised to give them an other training in the coming December.   Praise the Lord!

3. Some unique feature or Testimonies of the Program:

In the field out reach time we had experienced many things that I never see before let me share you some of that as follows:

1. In the first day me and my two colleague brother were meet three sisters and three brothers and shared them the love of Christ then all of them are accepted Christ as their savior and Lord. After their decision we started sharing for some young people next to them; from the youth some were started disturbing others in the midst one lady came with stick from the three sisters who were accepted Christ a short minutes before and she warned the disturbing youth and called other her friends, then they stopped disturbing others, we also able to share the gospel in p

2. In the same day when one of our student missionary Wakijira sharing the gospel, many people came and surrounded Him. He is short  and because of that many people could not able to see him and

arted shouting to see him. Among them One old man stood up and please the audience to sit-down on the ground and invited Wakijira to continue his presentation about Jesus. Imagine that old man is not believer but God used him to open the door for the gospel. Glory to the Almighty!

3. Evangelist kebede one of the trainee and  Marzenebe one of the student missionary were stoned in the second day outreach time.     Kebede was blooded for a minutes.

4.  We have see God has prepared the heart of people for the gospel, most of the people were hungry for the gospel, they ready to accept Jesus but the challenge part we have seen the believers are not ready to share the good news for them as much.

1. praise the Lord for the  Spiritual movement that going among Debrezeit College Students especially for Abulazaz who was won his family in Christ and started spiritual movement in his local church; and for Mirtsew who was initiated the program that we had in Adulala, he has passionate to build spiritual movement among all the churches and community which are in Adulala and Surrounding .

1. Happy New Year

I would like to say HAPPY ETHIOPIAN NEW YEAR!!!I we thank God upon every single remembrance that He has done in the last Ethiopian year trough us. When we look back in the last year our ministry Journey we would rejoice in the fruits that God has given us over a lot of challenges. Many students could; grown up in Christ liking , able to share Christ boldly, able to follow up an equip new believers, able to went in different places for mission in the area Church not yet planted and planted, able to plant new churches, able to mobilize more kingdom workers, as we know students are the most powerful tomorrow’s key leaders in different sectors of the society and the Churches.

2. MULTIPLYING CHURCH COMMUNITIES (MC2) Training from August 7 to 14
It is simple transferable modular training which helps to establish multiply churches and fellowships in a variety of target groups with expected results being establishment of multiplying churches and fellowships that expand rapidly and contribute to building spiritual movements in target groups and areas. It also process to develop leaders in knowledge, skills and characters that has been lacking to ensure to see lasting fruit. It is the opportunity that majority of believers get involved in the most important task of being obedient to the Great Commandment and fulfilling the Great Commission. participants came from west, Central, and South and East Africa.

3. Rise and Shine Women’s Conference

We also trained more than 6500 Christian women’s in Family life, leadership, the role of the women as Christian from all over the country and South & East Africa countries by brining them to Addis Ababa for one week intensive trainings from August 12 to 17, 2012.

4. My wife has joined Great Commission Ministry-Ethiopia

God has called her to serve Him in the area of discipling and evangelizing the nation since her childhood. she had been fulfilling her calling in participating different mission events and practicing personal her life journey and being associate staff for Great Commission ministry Ethiopia for the last three years.
Through in the time God has challenged her to serve Him in her fulltime, so that Pray fully she have decided to work with Great Commission Ministry Ethiopia and have joined the organization July 23, 2012 while I am working.

In this time she is taking Great Commission Training (GCT) that designed for nine month for the new staff. they are 18 in the training.

5. Silti Mission

Siliti Mission

As you know we have privileged to send student missionaries in different area of the county specially the area that the Christian community are few or not yet planted.
From August to I had send 7 student missionaries to Sliti in Gurage Area the most Muslim dominated. In the mercy of God they could able to expose 185 people in the gospel and 11 people are come to Christ. And they also trained youth in character development and evangelism.

6. Leadership Development

I had trained 7 student leaders who are selected from 6 colleges of Debreziet in leadership.
Those student leaders are represented all the Debreziet colleges government and private. God has using them amazingly to reach the forgotten people by the local churches in Debreziet and mission agencies who are living Debrezeit surrounding.
In the year 2004 E.C. they were focused on the area called Katela which located east to the town, in those area God has helped them to plant three home churches. In the coming Ethiopian year they also planned to reach the West side of the town called Adulala to train 50 spiritual movement leaders and expose 12000 people within a week.

Introduction

In the summary season all the colleges are closed for the regular students and the students went their home to take rest for two to three months because of that we focus on the following strategies in these three months:

Most of the time we do send students for one month mission trip by bringing them from different colleges

We do mobilize the students to train and do mission with their local churches

We do also engaged into different training for our self development

Final we do have national student conferences.

I would like to update you some of my testimonies within the last two months as follows

Action Group Graduation

In the whole academic year our primary focus is mentoring, couching, training,…  the key student leaders whom are selected carful who would take the initiative to lead the movement in their campuses and beyond by mobilizing the believers at their colleges. We call them “action group” means the responsible p group to take the action first.

At the end of the academic year we certify some of them who  equipped well and completed the whole training that we have train them.

In the grace of God we could able to certify 40 key movement leaders from central or Addis Ababa Colleges.

Kairos (God the Church and the World)

God was provide me the opportunity to attend the training called “Kairos” for seven days with the church pastors, different organization leaders and missionaries  those who working in and outside the country. It is intensive perspective course or training that focuses on the world mission or evangelization. Let me share you the highlights of the course topics:

God, His Mission and His World; Israel, the Covenant People; The Messiah, the Message and the Messenger; Expansion of the World Christian Movement; Mission Strategy; The Task Remaining; Cross-Cultural Cultural Consideration; World Christian Team work or Integration

Each of the lesson were conducted with powerful and live video’s.

God has fired our heart in the mission fire .

During the training we do practiced contextualization and cross-cultural evangelization strategy.

Life 4 All National Student Conference Harar

God has given us a strategy that we would equip and raise many young labors for the kingdom of God by bringing them together from the whole area of the country for one week in order to give them intensive training about personal vision, National Transformation and Global Mission.

This is the 5th cycle when we held the program at Harar the place where the Muslim community dominated.

In 2008 we had train 3000 students in Nekemte South West Ethiopia

In 2009 we had train 7300 student at Awassa in the South Ethiopia

In 2010 we had train 2600 students in Bahrdar

In this year we have trained 1200 students and  professionals in the place where Muslim Dominated Area Harar.

Our conference theme was “HERE AM I. SEND ME!”

And God has fulfilled the purpose what he has given us by filling the students heart within the love of the Lost. Most of them are decided to be a missionary for the unreached and least reached people group after their graduation.

2. I am on the preparation to start Muslim Focused ministry; pray that may the Lord give me wisdom and direction

3. We are going to train 10,000 selected women from all of the country from August 12 to 17, 2012, pray that may the Lord help us and touch the women’s  in his desire.

4. Pray for my support may the Lord rise the people who would support me

After the semester break  our  students became busy in transferring   leadership for the second generation, building new team, sending for Mini mission… specially from February to April.

For the last three month I was so busy in the issue my wedding preparation beside ministry. Me and my fiancé were decided to make our wedding on May 06, 2012 at February 2012. In that time my account was at deficit, but we had took the initiative to plan by trusting our faithful God as he would provide us 77700birr ≈ $4570 within the three months.

As we trusted in Him he has provided us our basic needs some of in kind and some of in Cash like sofa, Bed with full dressings, wedding ring, wedding cloth, photo, food…costs, house I was living in the two room house right now I have changed the house in three rooms.

He had also blessed our weeding in his visible presence on the ceremony.

We bless the Lord for His blessings!!!

MINI MISSION REPORT

We have the privilege to send student missionaries for two to three days up to 150 KM far from their college in the begging of the semester when they came back from semester break.

Students at mission trip (Alembank)

I the grace and Love of God I could able to send student missionaries as follows from my ministry target Area:

1. Addisugebeya 19 students  from Technology School

2. Alembank 25 students  (from Main, Technology and Natural Science Campuses)

3. Katela  6 students from Rift Valley and Veterinary campuses, the main purpose was that to visit and to give follow up for  the new plated church at the break mission time; beside that the have planted more three new home churches at the village.

4. Debrebrhane 16 students from Debrebrahne campus

5. Sendafa 23 students from Petros Medical campuses, the were faced hardship. Were arrested… in the grace of God there came out from jail within 24 hours. Praise the Lord!

6. 44 students are participated in intercampus outreach

In general we could able to expose 1780 of people

98 of received Christ as their savior and Lord.

247 of  Christians are trained in the mission area and campuses

CAMPUS SATURATION

Our motto  says “Win the Campus today Win the world Tomorrow” it is true  the easiest way to win the world is simply win the student today that going to govern the world.

In this year God has put in our hear the way how we  could win the campus today; the strategy that reaching the whole students by dividing the unbelievers to the believers in each academic year, batch, class and subject department.

That makes easy the way to reach out people in the love of Christ. Just by focusing on few students per year and making deep relationship with them to share the love of Christ in act.

Some schools are enjoying that and some of are struggling!

From my key disciples their name are called Akalewolde and Teshome had took the initiative to motivate the four (6Killo, 5Killo, 4Killo and FBE) Campus students to saturate the four campuses in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

They have bring all the four campus action group together and established the team that going to take responsibility follow up and started intercampus outreach by remixing the one campus with other.

In the first day implementation the could able to reach 173 students and lecturers; from them 1 lecturer and three students received Christ as their savior and Lord!

We are privileged to send student missionaries in different area which not  reached in the gospel at the semester break for one week.

We have sent:

1. 19 students from Sidist Kilo and 4killo campus to Butajira 135 KM from Addis Ababa.

2. 28 from the School of Technology or 5 killo to Ginich, 75 km from Addis Ababa and Wonago 380 km south of Addis Ababa.

3. 20 from School of Commerce to Wolikite 190 km from Addis Ababa.

4.  33 from the School of Veterinary to Katela, Robi Gebeya and Kaliti Kebele, around 80 km from Addis Ababa to East Shewa, in five different areas of Ethiopia. In total, 100 students were sent for one week mission.

Mission Testimonies

1. Ginch Mission

Meseret has sharing the gospel in the place Chillimo  not Church planted yet.

In addition to Ginch they were focused on the surrounding villages called Chilimo and Koree. Places where no church has been planted yet. By the grace of God they were able to plant two churches in these two places. In this time Ginch brothers or Wondimamach Church has taken the initiative to follow up the new believers and they are going to build the Church building.. Also, four people were delivered from Demonic possession.

2. Butajira Mission

As we know Butajira is the most Muslim dominant area, it was challenging with Muslim beliefs and Jehova’s Witness. This confused some of our missionaries especially in the issue of Trinity and the Lordness of Jesus. That made me too busy to teach our missionaries in the night about Trinity and the Lordness of our Lord Jesus Christ, and in the daytime I was busy in panel discussion with the Muslim religious

During Butajira mission three people were delivered from the Devil Spirit.

God has delivered her from Evil Spirit. As the witness of the devil sprit, the sprit decided to kill her within 24 hours

God has Delivered Ato Solomon from mind problem.  Ato Solomon had a mind problem and was living out of his mind.

3. Katela mission:

Katela is around 34 km far from Debreziet in the East to Ejere, the population estimation is around 200,000. Religious statistics show it is 100% Coptic Orthodox, the place where no one is a born again Christian. Our plan was to reach the people by providing veterinary and medical services freely. But the community rejected our service in saying “we do not need any service from Pente (Protestant) religion follower”.  We were tried to make negotiation with the community in two Keble in the first two days, but the community rejected us and asked us strongly to leave the area, so then we left the area at the second night. The funny thing here is we slept in the ground on the tree for the first night. We made our way back to Debreziet on the second night.

In the third day we had changed our strategy to apply our big plan of reaching the community in the love of Christ. We decided to use one to one evangelism and in the three Keble (Katela, Robi Gebeya and Kaliti), we stand up at the morning early at 5 AM and went there at 9 AM by contract bus from Debrezeit and started preaching the gospel, home to home and in the street by the power of the Holy Spirit.

At 10: 25 AM some of our missionaries were arrested by the community policy and Kebele administration. That pushes us to stop sharing the love of Christ at 10: 30 AM within that short time we were able to share for 223 people and 35 received Christ as their Lord and Savior in the three Kebele. In the two Kebele (at Katela and Robi Gebeya) God has provided us two homes for discipleship or worship house from those who received Christ with the whole family. In the third Kebele (Kaliti) also one of our student’s missionary is following up the new believers.

In this time we are looking for one missionary to send there for one year who will be able to equip the believers until the church building is built.

In general we were able to:   

1. Expose 5147 people in the love of Christ

2.  425 people received Christ

 3.  More than 250 people are         trained

 4. Five new churches are planted          

5.  Seven people are delivered from       demonic Spirit

6. We have raised 43500birr in cash, 600 Bible and many gospel tracts from individuals, ministries and organization for the mission.

1. praise the Lord for his faithful provision and protection at the  mission time

My Prayer Request:

1. pray for the new believers that may grow up in spiritually

2. Pray for the new planted churches that it may strong and  multiply it self

3. We are going to saturate each campuses and surrounding in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ  pray may God give us wisdom and direction

4. I am going to Marry on May 06, 2012 pray may God provide all our basic needs

we made back in safely from Katela (East Shewa) around 80 KM for Addis Ababa mission today. It was wonderful and Challenging, God has used those challenges to grown our faith. Our Plan was to reach three Kebele in the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and Plant three churches in three Keble’s by providing Veterinary and Medical service freely from the last
Wednesday to today.  But the community rejected us in saying ” we don’t want any servers from PENTE (Protestant religion)” so that we pushed to leave the area the last Thursday.
In the grace and power of God yesterday we had changed our strategy to use one to one Evangelism on the area, that helps us to reach more than 235 people from those 35 people received Christ as their personal savior and Lord from 3: 40 to 4:35 local time, at 4: 35 three missionaries arrested by the the community police, that pushes us to stop at 4:35 our mission.
Immediately they had took them to the Woreda police center. Then me and other two student leaders went their to discuses with the administration and release our missionaries. when we went at the jail they also included me and one leader at jail because they had seen me at the place when I was preaching the gospel on street.
In the mercy of God we had released from the jail after 10 hours in safe.

In generally we have exposed more than 235 people and 35 are received Christ.

The another amazing thing is we have gotten to houses freely to teach the new believers at their in  two Kebele from new believers. One at Katela and the other at RobiGebeya. both of the house owners are received Christ as their Savior and Lord yesterday.
We are sending students with one Evangelist for follow up starting from tomorrow.
