Making My Generation God's Generals

From June 04 to July 22, 2010

My plan in Amarro was to have a time with my family and just to take rest. But God’s plan was not the same to my plan. I have learned one thing from these. “God has best plan for each of my time I should be ready all the time to now and exercise it”

The following Amazing things could have been happened:-

_ Discipleship Group have established in members 75 people from different local Church with six key Leaders who have close relation with Great Commission Ministry and well experienced Great Commission strategy and Materials.

_Discipleship House also offered from one Family in freely.

_All Church leaders are accepted Great Commission Vision and promised to support it.

_Church hall also allowed us to train people.

_Professionals fellowship established with five key leaders.

_More than 130 Church key leaders trained on leadership development training.

_84 people have trained Basic Evangelism.

_63 people have trained Muslim Evangelism.

_83 people have trained Inductive Bible Study.

_45 people have trained prayer.

_75 people have studied the book of Nehemiah.

_41 people have trained movement everywhere.

_45 people have trained Intermediate.

_40 people have trained PCS (Prayer Care and Share).

_32 people have studied the Book of Jonah.

_Total 638 people have trained from June 04 to July 22, 2010.

Excitements!

_From the trainee his name is Mihret has trained Basic Evangelism and Muslim Evangelism other more than 10 people; and motivated more than 6 local Church to have fast prayer in a big Mountain for one day and he did it on July 21, 2010. Those people who had a prayer time on the Mountain named the Mountain a Prayer and Training Mountain and they are Continuing prayer and having training on that Mountain.

-After training they had outreach time for three days starting from July 10-12, 2010. In these three days they exposed more than 216 people in Christ, 18 people were interested, and 40 people were received Christ as their Savior and Lord. Praise Lord.

In addition to these I had send 9 student missionaries from Addis Ababa University College of Commerce to North Showa Minjar Shenkora Woreda in Amara Region from the date June 22 to 29, 2010. They had exposed more than 429 people and 99 people were received Christ as their Lord and Savior. In addition to this they had established High School Fellowship within 2 key Leaders. O! How is Great God Our God?

My Prayer request:-

1. May God give wisdom and encouragement for the Amaro Discipleship Leaders.

2. May the ministry continue to grow in progressively.

3. May God provide me digital photo Camera and laptop computer.

4. May God give me more partners.

5. I have writing book 2 training materials about Muslim evangelism and book one Orthodox Evangelism training Materials pray may God give me wisdom and courage.

Three Month Ministry Update on December 15, 2010

There are more than 80 campuses and 140 High schools with in the city among this 12 of them are government campus where most influential people are graduating from. Reaching campus students today, is reaching tomorrow’s influential people of the country .Currently I am responsible for 9 government Campus movement. In the central region (Addis Ababa) Student led movement we are five for this big work. By God grace we could manage to do the following in the last three month within government Campus only.

Mission Testimony:

Ayelew is a young man from strong Orthodox family lives in Addis Ababa. Christ came to this family as one of his brother received Jesus Christ. Ayelew and his Mother tried every possible means to push his brother who was a new believer out of their house. Amazingly, his brother who was under pressure, won His mother for Christ. This time Ayelew got disappointed and decided to run away to a nearby town called Sendafa. He collected all the Bibles, Spiritual song CD’s and other spiritual books so that his Mother and Brother would have nothing to read. But, for some reason he kept the Bibles and the song CD’s with him. It was almost a year since he left his home and family so that he would not be a Christian, when one of our students who went to the Town for short term mission met him. This time the Holy spirit convicted Him of his sin and he knelt down to pray. Having prayed to receive Jesus as his personal savior and Lord, the first thing Ayalew requested was to call to his Mother and Brother who had no clue of where he was for the whole year. When his Mother and Brother heard, they shouted Hallelujah! God has answered our prayer. Ayalew is now part of his family!.

Future Plan:

“Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage with great patience  and    carefulinstruction”.^{2Timoty 4:2}

We are trusting the lord to accomplish the following in Addis Ababa campus.

1. To Train 800 student leaders in leadership

2. To train 5000 students on how to share their faith with others

3. To expose 120,000 people through evangelism and short term mission

4. Ton send 2000  missionaries within Ethiopia

5. Recruit 20 full time staff and 100 associate

6. To build 750 key students with deep discipleship and mentoring.

7. To develop 10 key student leaders in Muslim Evangelism

Serving the Lord at Critical Time:

Purpose:- help fulfill the great commission

Vision:- movement on every Addis Ababa campus

(private and Government) and high schools so that every one knows some one who truly follow Jesus.

Mission:-win boldly, Build deeply, send urgently to Addis Ababa and beyond.

My Prayer Request:

I would like you to pray the following:

• Pray for our annual plan we may apply it effective.
• Pray for on campus daily out reach.
• Now my account is getting low or depict. So pray for my support may God rise the people who will serve Him in his mission filed by their money with me.
• We  will have break mission on the mid of January pray for that.
• I have a plan to reach Muslim community pray may God give me wisdom and good strategy.
• Pray for  all Great Commission staff support

Ministry Opportunity:

God has called me to His Kingdom work with full commitment to live and do the ministry as  the policy of the organization. Great Commission Ministry full time staff need  to raise fully our living and ministry cost. Unfortunately, at this time of my ministry journey I am in a critical support deficit .Such a condition will be seriously affecting my life  and ministry sooner or later.

On my side, I  have prayerfully decided for one-month  leave  to raise support as of December 9, 2010. I ask you to partner with me and work God’s agenda together. I had established discipleship team in Amarro when I was there in the last Summer time. In that time I had train them how can they multiply themselves as Paul instructed Timothy in 2 Timothy 2: 1-2 “you then, my son, be strong in the grace that in Christ Jesus. And things you have heard me say in the presence of many wittiness as entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others.”

The first Training.

Then I had given them to do outreach or expose people in Christ and have New Life Group. After the training immediately they started wittiness and establishing New Life Group.

In this time there are more than 7 New Life Group in different Local Church. I had visited two of them in the January 2011. They are in number 23 and 14 respectively.
The following things that happened in Amarro after the discipleship team established!

1. There is more than 7 New Life Group established in different local church.
2. Most of Christians are motivated to share the gospel.
3. High school fellowship had established.
4. Fellowship among the body of Christ growing progressively
5. The numbers of people who are exposed in Christ are growing in number in daily.
6. They had two times evangelism blitz. They had held successfully….

7. The ministry established in more than 35 local churches

8. Group leaders are grown up in number

This is our  ministry motto. so that I am the one who stand for lunching campus evangelism in the campuses of Addis Ababa University. Addis Ababa University is the one of influential campus in the Country and the house of Current Leaders of the country . so that we have to focus on campus evangelism.
